class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Urogynecology looks at the diagnosis and treatment of urinary incontinence and disorders of the pelvic floor such as prolapse of the uterus and vagina.<\/p><h1>URINARY INCONTINENCE<\/h1><p>Urinary incontinence is a common disorder that effects up to 6 million women in Germany.<\/p><ul><li>Stress incontinence is the loss of urine without having the urge to use the toilet when doing heavy lifting, laughing or sneezing.<\/li><li>Urge incontinence is the loss of urine with a constant or frequent urge to void often associated with increased urinary frequency during the day and night.<\/li><li>Mixed urinary incontinence is a combination of both stress and urge symptoms.<\/li><\/ul><h1>PROLAPSE OF THE PELVIC ORGANS<\/h1><p>The relaxation of the pelvic floor muscles and connective tissue with age or often through pregnancy may cause the organs of the pelvis descend or even prolapse through the vagina, e.g. prolapse of the bladder, uterus or vagina.<\/p><p>Prolapse may cause one or many of the following symptoms:<\/p><ul><li>Urinary incontinence, urinary retention, recurrent bladder infections, constipation<\/li><li>Pain during intercourse<\/li><li>Pressure or the feeling of a foreign body in the pelvic region<\/li><li>Back pain<\/li><\/ul><h1>Conservative Treatment:<\/h1><p><a
