However increasing evidence has shown ultrasound to be superior to clinical examination in detecting small tumors in the breast. The German Society for Senology and The German Society for Ultrasound in Medicine have recommended the wider use of ultrasound for screening asymptomatic women above 40 years of age.\n\nUltrasound is especially useful in younger women whose breast tissue tend to be more dense, making the mammography difficult to interpret.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
